Question 1

What is Swiss Cheese AI?

Accepted Answer

Swiss Cheese AI (SCAI) is a multi-model AI platform that runs a debate between multiple LLMs — a Generator drafts an answer, one or more Evaluators critique it, and an Integrator produces a verified final answer. It works standalone at swisscheeseai.com and as an MCP custom connector inside Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.

Question 2

How does SCAI work as an MCP custom connector?

Accepted Answer

Add https://www.swisscheeseai.com/api/mcp as a custom connector or MCP server URL in Claude, ChatGPT (Developer mode plugins), or Perplexity (Settings → Connectors). SCAI uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, so no client ID or secret is required. After consent, ask the host for a "second opinion" or say "Use SCAI" in any prompt to invoke a debate.

Question 3

Which AI models does SCAI use?

Accepted Answer

SCAI orchestrates debates across models from Anthropic (Claude family), OpenAI (GPT family), Google (Gemini family), and open models routed via OpenRouter. Users can pick Economy, Balanced, or Power modes; Super Economy auto-selects top free models.

Question 4

Does SCAI reduce AI hallucinations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because each answer passes through an Evaluator step that critiques the Generator output and an Integrator step that reconciles disagreements, single-model hallucinations get flagged or corrected before the user sees the final response. This is the "swiss cheese" model of layered defense applied to AI answers.
